We’re on a mission to reshape the way we travel. We aim to connect people and cultures through unique and memorable travel experiences with people, places, and the planet in mind. To travel for the better, for the experience, and for the sense of community.

Our Founder Story

Our story began in 2024 in Vietnam. While exploring a remote village nestled in the northern mountains, our founder, Chu Minh, met a young guide named Võ Hà Tài. Tài, a university student passionate about his culture, offered to show Minh an authentic side of Vietnam that travelers rarely experience. "It felt like I’d unlocked the soul of the country," Minh recalls.

Tài introduced Minh to his world—sharing meals with local families, joining vibrant community festivals, and walking through terraced rice fields while listening to stories passed down through generations. It wasn’t just a tour; it was an immersion into the heartbeat of Vietnam, leaving an indelible mark on Minh’s heart.

Despite Tài’s talent and enthusiasm, he struggled to make ends meet while balancing his studies. He confided, "If only there was a way for more travelers to find guides like me." That conversation sparked the idea for Local Vibe—a platform to connect talented local guides and artisans with travelers seeking meaningful, immersive experiences.

At Local Vibe, our mission is twofold: to empower young, passionate individuals to share their unique cultures while earning a sustainable income, and to create bridges between travelers and locals, fostering deeper understanding and appreciation.
